About the Magazine

Who, what, when, where, and why

Cowboy Poetry Magazine is a 44-72 page full-color quarterly magazine launching in the fall of 2022. At least 25% to 35% of the content will be articles/stories about cowboy poetry. Our focus is on the history, tradition, and current state of cowboy poetry as an art form, as well as highlighting the visual artwork of outstanding artists of ranch life.

Each issue will be distributed through retail stores (farm, ranch, tack, western wear, etc.) as well as through newsstands and waiting rooms around the nation. Our initial print run for the first issue is 40,000 copies, with a newsstand price of $6 per copy. Individually-mailed subscriptions are available for $24 per year.
